Guardamar, on the sunny Costa Blanca in Spain, is a popular place to go on holiday, and it was with that in mind that this website, giving information for Guardamar, was created.

Guardamar, also known as Guardamar del Segura (and very often mis-spelt in a variety of ways; Guadamar, Gaurdamar, Guardamer, Guadarmar, Guardarmar, Guardarma and Guradamar), is a typical Spanish town which not only has some of the best beaches in Spain, it also has an excellent street market every Wednesday morning and some brilliant shops, bars and restaurants.

The location for Guardamar - Guardamar is about 30 minutes drive south from Alicante airport and about 40 minutes drive north from San Javier airport (also known as Murcia airport). Guardamars nearest neighbouring village, is La Mata, a typical laid-back Spanish village by the beach.
